Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S II drop tests

Johnny Ive of Apple talking about the iPhone 4 design stated that Apple developed "a custom glass that is comparable in strength to sapphire crystal but about 30 times harder than plastic."

Apple website also states on its website:

All the breakthrough technology in iPhone 4 is situated between two glossy panels of aluminosilicate glass — the same type of glass used in the windshields of helicopters and high-speed trains. Chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic, the glass is ultradurable and more scratch resistant than ever. It’s also recyclable.

The guys at ElectronicsBreaks decided to test this by doing drop tests on a aluminosilicate glass Apple iPhone 4S and a plastic Samsung Galaxy S II with a Gorilla Glass display.

The iPhones glass may be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic, but it looks like it is 20x more like to crack too and 30x more like to get shattered, too.

IPhone 6 gold sold 7 300

For those who have chosen to reflect their wealth through their electronic gadgets, the iPhone 6 is now available in 24 karat gold plated with its Apple logo embellished with diamonds.

IPhone 6 gold

IPhone 6 worth its weight in gold

Do not let the price deter you $ 7,300, the product is high-end, but not exclusive. To get one, its easy, just go to the site Ademov, electronic luxury store.

7300 dollars, thats the price of this new version of iPhone 6, bling at best. If ever the gold version of the latest Apple smartphone is not flashy enough for you, here is an alternative that should convince you for sure.

Just put the price to hang in the pocket a unique iPhone 6, you will be (almost) the only one. Proposed by the luxury boutique Ademov, this gold-plated 24k smartphone declined in its 128 GB version sees his Apple logo arranged, since 18K gold and encrusted with some white VS1 diamonds. To protect the gold surface, Ademov applied a special coating, covered with a transparent layer. It would be regrettable that the iPhone 6 is scored scratches.

Of course, the phone is not delivered in the traditional cardboard box, too cheap, but in an engraved wooden box.
